HALO Ti Cap Assembly and Part Identification
  • Inspection

Within your Halo Cap Kit, You will find the following items.

    Titanium Top Cap

    (1) Clear Silicone, High Temp Cap Cover

    (3) Red Silicone, High Temp Inner Gaskets (1 Pre-Installed)

    (1) Clear Silicone, High Temp Outer Gasket (Optional)

  • Initial Installation, Testing

Once you have your Titanium Cap ready to install, we recommend connecting your atomizer to the base prior to installation of the cap.

1 Install the cap by placing it over the chamber and beginning to twist until the cap locks into place. Never push the cap straight down, the chamber can damage the gasket. We recommend aligning the cap left and right until it’s properly centered in the chamber channels.

2 Now that the Halo Cap is secure to the atomizer, verify the insert is properly aligned. We recommend when using SiC or AlN to not press the cap all the way down to prevent any over the transfer of heat.

Within your Halo Ti Kit, You will find the following items.

    Titanium Threaded Top Cap

    Titanium Threaded Chamber

    Titanium Extension Ring

    (1) Silicone, High Temp Cap Cover

    (2) Silicone, Coil Insulators

    (1) PEEK, Lower Chamber Insulator

*Titanium Extension Ring is an optional part for oversized builds and inserts.

The extension ring is designed to allow more clearance for larger and taller inserts. Also allowing for the use of high thermally conductive inserts without touching the inside of the cap.

The extension ring is designed specifically for the 3G Pyra AlN, Floridian SiC Hybrid, and Floridian Whiteout Hybrid.

    **PEEK Lower Chamber insulator

    • The PEEK lower chamber insulator is designed to be placed onto the bottom of the Halo Chamber. The insulator works by keeping heat contained in the chamber and preventing transfer to the gold base connection. It also helps by creating a seal preventing oil from entering the connection.
    • PEEK is a semicrystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained to high temperatures.
  • Initial Installation, Testing

Once you have the Halo Ti Chamber with a coil installed but without an insert or top cap, proceed to install the chamber by following the steps below.

    1 Turn the base OFF

2 Verify the base connection is clean of any oil or debris. We highly recommend keeping the connection clean! This can cause “false flashes”!

3 Install the PEEK lower chamber insulator. Place the insulator overtop of the gold base connection and then thread the atomizer to the base. We recommend back-threading the chamber by rotating counter-clockwise a half turn to ensure the threads align. Then tighten the chamber to the base without overtightening.

    4 Power the base ON

5 Verify Battery Level by clicking 3x. We recommend using the device when the battery level is Green or Yellow for the best performance/highest temperatures.

6 Initiate a heating cycle on the White (Highest Setting) to test and stretch the coil for the first time. Coils have a short break-in period and get hotter over the first sessions.

7 Allow 10 minutes to cool down. Install the insert of your choice followed by the top cap. We recommend never overtightening any hardware. Hand-tight is good!

  • Troubleshooting

When I Connect My HALO RCA To My Peak, It Flashes 5 Times And Does Not Heat. What Do I Do?

-This is the “Short Circuit” warning. This LED sequence is indicating the atomizer is threaded too tightly to the base. Loosen the atomizer by a quarter to half turn to relieve pressure on the insulator and contact pin. We recommend always installing the chamber hand tight without overtightening

When I Connect My HALO RCA To My Peak, It Flashes a Rainbow And Does Not Heat. What Do I Do?

-This is the “No Atomizer” warning. This LED sequence is indicating the atomizer is not threaded tightly enough to the base. The base is not reading the atomizer. We recommend cleaning both the base and atomizer connection prior to reconnecting the chamber. Verify the coil leads are secure and reconnect the atomizer.

How Do I Remove the Extension Spacer Ring from my Halo RCA Top Cap?

-If the top cap is clean of any oil, simply tapping the cap on a hard surface will allow the ring to fall free. We recommend warm isopropyl alcohol and submerging the cap for 30 minutes.
